Sunday, February 11, 2024 - Paired perfectly with cavatelli and meat sauce. Still needs time to settle as tannins and acidity were high after a 2-hour decant. I see other posters saved some for the next day (wish my thirsty friends/family would allow me to do that!). Solid bones, just need a bit of patience with this one, but the structure for a superb vintage is here: medium body, bright red fruit, anise, cedar, chocolate and mint were among the notes. Will wait another 4-5 years before popping the next bottle, expect this to get really good.
