Saturday, September 18, 2021 - Red, high intensity. Developed(+), medium intensity nose. Meat, bay leaf, smoky notes. Dry, medium(+) accentuated acidity, medium(+) tannins, grainy but polished to emery, medium(+) body. 13%. Flavours of dark fruit, blackberries. Smoke, meat, spice peppar, dried herbs. Backed up by some oak. Complexity. Surprisingly vital, almost youthful, with the lovely fruit swept into finest silk. Superb!
