  Very good shape, excellent for over 20. A bit rich, full, more grenachy tasting than sirahy but that's how Chapoutier rolls. Still very nice. Torigoya

  Red, high intensity. Developed(+), medium intensity nose. Meat, bay leaf, smoky notes. Dry, medium(+) accentuated acidity, medium(+) tannins, grainy but polished to emery, medium(+) body. 13%. Flavours of dark fruit, blackberries. Smoke, meat, spice peppar, dried herbs. Backed up by some oak. Complexity. Surprisingly vital, almost youthful, with the lovely fruit swept into finest silk. Superb!

  We were pleasantly surprised to find this still drinking well. Lots a nice fruit.

  Far superior to my previous bottle. This was rocky, sweetly-fruited but not overripe, with some Syrah-driven funky rubber, roasted meats, touch antiseptic in its complexity. Pretty soulful for Chapoutier, damn, loved this.

  Lots of fruit still present on the nose. Classic black pepper in the mouth along with red fruit and some smoke.
