Saturday, April 1, 2023 - Dark opaque purple- looks like Napa. A little black fruits and oak on the nose. Palate - moderate to heavy body, notes of blackcurrant, leather, and oak. The oak is relatively mild and well mannered. Medium length finish with some good tannin. The wine lacks acidity. Overall good wine at the value Napa price point ($35-40). Lack of acidity would prevent this from aging well. Drink by 2026.
