Dark opaque purple- looks like Napa. A little black fruits and oak on the nose. Palate - moderate to heavy body, notes of blackcurrant, leather, and oak. The oak is relatively mild and well mannered. Medium length finish with some good tannin. The wine lacks acidity. Overall good wine at the value Napa price point ($35-40). Lack of acidity would prevent this from aging well. Drink by 2026.

Great color. Full expression of (what I would guess) mid-Napa Valley fruit. To my taste, a bit soft. Some tannins in the finish indicate the wine will improve for a while, but the lack of acidity will keep it from becoming great.

Nose: Dark fruit - cherry, plums Palette: Lots of dark, rich fruit, spicy finish. Vanilla. Has great aging potential. Will try our next bottle in at least 2-3 years and see
Paired with a New York Striploin. Went amazing. Also good with the bacon bits in our baked potato 👌🏼

Those looking for a hedonistic Napa Cab at a reasonable price need look no further. This family-owned winery has been producing great wines for decades, and they don't carry the debt of many other Napa wineries. As such, they offer this opaque crimson blend of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petit Verdot, aged for 20 months in French oak (40% new), at a price well within the stratosphere. Opaque crimson and brimming with indulgent Napa floor fruit, it delivers an impressive package of black currants, dark bramble fruits, bittersweet chocolate, baking spices and savory herbs. Medium-to-full-bodied and with well-integrated alcohol (listed as 14.8%), it supports its flavors with fresh acidity, abundant sweet tannins and oak that beautifully balances the ripe fruit. Dense and layered on the mid-palate, it goes on to conclude with good length and lift. This is a Cabernet from the famed Napa Valley that does not carry an insane sticker price. Drink now-2033.

Deep purple color with slow legs. Shoe leather, smoke and black pepper on the nose. Dark fruit, black cherry and burnt toast on the palate. Long leathery finish. A bit too smokey and peppery for me otherwise would have rated higher.

Huge nose of black raspberry, dark fruits and smoke. Big mid palate flavors of black cherry, blackberry, briar, and oregano. Soft tannins.

Good basic Napa cab. Better wines available for the $30 price or less.
