Friday, September 16, 2022 - Slaughterer offers some great information and tasting notes below. I would add that I find a puréed mango / peach quality to the wine; it is not as austere as those tasting notes may suggest. The most distinctive quality is a profound waxiness, which corresponds to a riesling-like petrol / rubber aroma. I also detect an unwelcome note of acetone / sharpie / nail polish. Overall, it is a joy to taste a wine this distinctive and intense, though it is not an instinctively delicious wine.
