Monday, May 21, 2018 - The cork broke and it was initially slightly bitter. But after 30-45 minutes, it blossomed. This wine has always had a slightly candied flavor to it, which adds to the richness. Just sweet fruit, not high sugar. And only 14 percent alcohol, unlike many Aussie wines, which are difficult to drink if you're not in a group.
All in all, a lovely wine with a ribeye and after. no hard edges and fully mature as you would expect at this point. Hard to put down. Wish I had more.
