Last time I had this bottle it was shut down and showed poorly. It’s now opened up but I don’t believe it has many years left. Fruit forward flavors of blackberries, red currant, and ripe blackberries. There a bit of green flavors and metallic texture that detracts. It improved after being opened for an hour.

The cork broke and it was initially slightly bitter. But after 30-45 minutes, it blossomed. This wine has always had a slightly candied flavor to it, which adds to the richness. Just sweet fruit, not high sugar. And only 14 percent alcohol, unlike many Aussie wines, which are difficult to drink if you're not in a group. All in all, a lovely wine with a ribeye and after. no hard edges and fully mature as you would expect at this point. Hard to put down. Wish I had more.

I'm hoping this Cab has just shut down for a few years. Wet grass and asparagus flavors. Yuck! Tasting notes of other and myself were good when the wine was young, but dropped in the last two years. I'll try again in a couple of years and hope for better.
