Sunday, January 9, 2011 - The components are there but there may be something wrong with this wine. Decanted for about three hours, nice creamy texture, sweet vanilla oak, black and red fruits. Nose is lush and rich with tons of toasty oak and sweet red fruits. Palate is a bit disjointed with some astringency on the back end. The fruit and richness seems a bit masked. I think this may be a bad bottle compared to others from the same source.
