2019 Torremoron Ribera del Duero

Community Tasting Note

Likes this wine:

Thursday, July 8, 2021 - Scorched earth, hints of tar, anise biscotti, dark fruit, gravel on the nose, it’s savory and aromatic — it doesn’t quite jump out of the glass but it’s close. There’s a nice high-toned quality to it. Fleshy, somewhat rustic, texturally — the fruit starts to show a little more on the palate with some bright blackberries, currants. Nice medium+ acidity provides some balance to the richness, though there is a bit of additional warmth towards the finish. It’s 14.5 but drinks a touch noticeably hot. All the same, I enjoyed this.
