Friday, December 24, 2021 - Funky nose, earth, mushroom, damp forrest floor. Comes alive on the palette Cassis, cherry, tons of fruit, and green pepper. The earthy notes on the nose show through especially on the nice finish. Great acidity. Perfect balance. Really impressive wine still showing well. Definitely illustrates the aging potential of Washington Cabs. Not sure it will stay at this stage much longer though. Plan on drinking my last bottle soon!! Served with grilled ribeye, wild mushrooms with no decant.
