Color: Med-dark ruby. Classic.

Nose: Beautiful, classic Châteauneuf-du-Pape nose. Complex, expressive nose of cherry liqueur, kirsch, wild raspberry, smoke, garrigue spices (herbs, shrub), and licorice. Beautiful purity.

The 'assemblage' of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre (and other) grapes provides amazing aromatic complexity.

Palate: Med-full body. Lovely, saturated flavors of sweet black cherry, black raspberry, garrigue wild herbs, and classic touch of black pepper. Full alcohol (15.0%), but shy of burning. Ripe medium tannins in this young wine. Tart acidity on finish.

One of the great artisanally-made "tradition" CDPs on the market, at $50/bottle. Don't hesitate.

91-92.
Best drinking: 2024-2030.
This Châteauneuf is drinks fine right now (late-2022), but is quite undeveloped and a little tight. This would definitely benefit from at least 2 more yeas in bottle. The sweet spot for drinking will be '26-'28.
