Still very mineral, crystal clear, elegant, intense style, this is really great wine in its own way. Given air, more herbs, power and typicity arrives. Great QPR. #PensionDanmark

For a CdP quite light in color and medium in extraction. Woody notes in the finish are very pleasant and the primary aromas remind of banana. Overall beautiful CdP but lacks a bit in depth and concentration. Maybe needs a few more years.

A lighter, more whimsical CDP than my preference, but still quite enjoyable. Medium body with boysenberries, cassis, and violets on the nose and fore palate. A touch of pencil shavings on the back end. Not tight, it ends with a soft and moderate length finish. Gentle and balanced overall. Based on this one bottle I had at a restaurant, I wouldn't think this vintage can be laid down for any length of time, but it should be in fine fettle for a few years, at least. Best before 2026 is my best guess, and good to go now.

Medium red color with a clear meniscus. On nose, garrigue, savory undertone, black tea and raspberry. Palate similar plus sweet cherry. Medium body/acidity, low tannins. Long finish. 93+/- Very enjoyable.

(Imported by Rosenthal, NY). 65% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Mourvèdre, 5% other permitted varietals. Vines are 35-115 years old. Yields : 40-45 ha/hl. Organically farmed vyds. Raised 18 months in neutral foudres. Unfined, unfiltered. Small producer: only 3,300 cases made. __________
Color: Med-dark ruby. Classic.
Nose: Beautiful, classic Châteauneuf-du-Pape nose. Complex, expressive nose of cherry liqueur, kirsch, wild raspberry, smoke, garrigue spices (herbs, shrub), and licorice. Beautiful purity.
The 'assemblage' of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre (and other) grapes provides amazing aromatic complexity.
Palate: Med-full body. Lovely, saturated flavors of sweet black cherry, black raspberry, garrigue wild herbs, and classic touch of black pepper. Full alcohol (15.0%), but shy of burning. Ripe medium tannins in this young wine. Tart acidity on finish.
One of the great artisanally-made "tradition" CDPs on the market, at $50/bottle. Don't hesitate.
91-92. Best drinking: 2024-2030. This Châteauneuf is drinks fine right now (late-2022), but is quite undeveloped and a little tight. This would definitely benefit from at least 2 more yeas in bottle. The sweet spot for drinking will be '26-'28.
