Thursday, February 2, 2023 - 2019s are hot but they are drinking well young still. I am still deciding if i love the vintage long term as 14.5% alcohol here is something that makes me nervous and question is if it's what I want in Burgundy. This wine today is a enormous fruit bomb of satin like deep red sweet exuberance that still offers some minerality to balance it and not make it vulgar. But it's a hot wine this much is clear. Worked better in the Conterno glass than Zalto Burg I felt.
