Drank with 2006 Rousseau Charmes, 2011 Rousseau Ruchottes & 2018 Rousseau Chambertin, opened for 3 hours, dark hue, lots red fruits, primary but elegant, balanced with power & oh velvety tannins, delicious now already with huge upside potential, most people WOTN. Easily 96 points now

Super thick and rich blue, red and black fruit. Butterscotch notes on the palate and so ripe and forward it seemed new world but with a balance and depth that only great burgundy can achieve

2019s are hot but they are drinking well young still. I am still deciding if i love the vintage long term as 14.5% alcohol here is something that makes me nervous and question is if it's what I want in Burgundy. This wine today is a enormous fruit bomb of satin like deep red sweet exuberance that still offers some minerality to balance it and not make it vulgar. But it's a hot wine this much is clear. Worked better in the Conterno glass than Zalto Burg I felt.

Seriously good juice. First time for me, and it exceeded its robust reputation.
