Friday, October 13, 2023 - Out to dinner with The Cyclist and IAMANDYC. Drank this alongside the Covert cab franc. I thought both were similar in weight and tone. I gave this an hour in the decanter, then back into the bottle, so maybe open for about 90 minutes before first pour. Deep magenta color, bright blue fruits and violets on the nose. Rich, lush blueberry fruits, finishing with subtle oak, vanilla and cedar, which seems to be the signature style of Trespass. Dry palate, tightly integrated tannins. Nicely balanced.
