Wednesday, May 4, 1988 - Deep dark red. Deep and powerful bouquet with black fruits/cassis, liquorice and good oak. Full bodied wine. Complex in the taste, with cassis, liquorice, luxurious oak, good acidity and bitterness. The tannin is good, firm and sticky. Long aftertaste with oak. A very good and juicy wine. What an extremely good effort for the vintage! Now beautiful, but will be as good in 3 -4 years.
