Wednesday, December 1, 2021 - Return to Piemonte!; 11/25/2021-12/4/2021 (Castello di Sinio, Alba, other various locations): Really liked this wine. It has a weightless ness to it that is very compelling. Lots of structure. Lots of elegance. This is red fruits and pretty and just power but bright but light and I appreciate any wine that can make that combination work. Drinking quite nicely. Vines are around 25 years old so a bit less complex than the ‘flagship’ barbaresco, but I’d certainly see myself ordering this in the future.
