Sunday, June 24, 2007 - Though made from Pinot Noir, the sharp, flinty grapefruit flavors remind me of Sauvignon Blanc. The aromas are of apple and forest floor while the flavors offer grapefruit, quince, and green apple. Nicely focused and high-toned. Definitely more of a food wine than a quaffer. Another bottle stashed for 2008 in order to see how the sharp acidity resolves over time.
