Monday, December 14, 2020 - Chambolle and Morey 2019 with Stannary (Zoom!): Riotte is just below CSD and has deep soil with some clay, so doesn't easily suffer from hydric stress - it did well in '19 and '20. Vines over 60yo, too.

A very generous, fruit-forward style, reliant more on bitterness than acidity for its balance. Laid-back and stuffed full of charming forest fruits. Tannins are gloriously sweet. Very tasty but slightly lacks excitement.
