Wednesday, March 29, 2023 - Uccellone was a nickname of a woman who had a noose looking like a bird’s beak and lived where the vineyards were located. Complex, rich and long lasting with warming finish. Made from single vineyard of Rocchetta Tanaro, aged for 12 months in used oak and 12 months in bottle. Medium intensity aroma of cherries, spices, strawberries, roses, blackberries. Full body, fresh, bright and deep red fruit focused flavours, well integrated high acidity, rich powdery tannins, high abv (16%), long lasting warming finish.
