Wednesday, January 18, 2023 - Opened last night. Strong dark yet translucent ruby. Black cherry evident in the nose. Smoke and spice, too., along with forest floor. Ripe but not sweet fruit in the mouth, to go with earthy flavors. Seems a tad green. Strong backbone. Steer clear of this for awhile, it still needs a lot of time. Least impressive of my bottles so far. 5-12-15-8: 90/100.
