Saturday, December 30, 2023 - Thibault is consciously looking for a hint of reduction in his wines, which is present here, but very well controlled. Has a very expressive nose, yet have a feeling it’s not showing it’s true potential. Earth, game, wild strawberries, cranberry and a hint of smoke. The palate is juicy & fruit forward, this is a very approachable Pinot even though tannins have not reached complete ripeness yet. I would say it is still removed from its peak and could be there in a year or 2.
