Sunday, April 7, 2024 - Quite golden in color. Nose — peach, pear, butterscotch. Quite intense on open and diminished fairly significantly in the thirty minutes I have had open. Palate — m+ acidity, quite a persistent finish. Peach, butterscotch, lemon, a little wood element. A touch acidic on front end, then dives in mid palate, with an acidic pop on the back end. Very nice mouthfeel. It does get better with air. Acidity is a bit high, it overshadows some of the complexity in the wine. Overall a very nice wine. Quite nice on day 2, still a lot of flavor and decent balance with acidity more in check.
