Saturday, December 24, 2011 - Medium deep yellow. Piercing orange peel notes. Full bodied, really wonderful texture. More pungent, lime-like green citrus in the mouth with some glycerine sweetness and a very long, soil-filled finish with some tonic water or cyanic bitterness. I had the same reaction to this as I did to the last bottle 2 years ago-this was a dead ringer for a Smaragd level Austrian Riesling. Fascinating bottle that more than repaid the modest purchase price.
