Drinks very much like a white Burgundy. At this point, it's starting to get a bit oxidized, but pleasantly so, with a nice, honeyed smell. Perhaps a year left before it heads downhill. I've had 2 bottles recently that had oxidized beyond salvage, but the rest have been fine.

Drank awhile back so memory is fuzzy, but this was a very interesting drink, fairly evolved but still fresh, lots going on. Perhaps more intellectually interesting than pure pleasure.

This drank like a well-aged white burgundy. A bit oxidized and complex, with a changing palate. Unsuprisingly, this did not hold up the next day even under argon.

Medium deep yellow. Piercing orange peel notes. Full bodied, really wonderful texture. More pungent, lime-like green citrus in the mouth with some glycerine sweetness and a very long, soil-filled finish with some tonic water or cyanic bitterness. I had the same reaction to this as I did to the last bottle 2 years ago-this was a dead ringer for a Smaragd level Austrian Riesling. Fascinating bottle that more than repaid the modest purchase price.

Tasted like aged old vine Chenin Blanc from the Loire this time. So nice.
