Thursday, February 10, 2022 - The only Pinot Grigio in my entire lineup. Not overly done or overextracted. Nose of lemongrass, grapefruit, and tropical fruits. The palate is a little less dense and had a lot of Asian pear and peach profile but plenty of grapefruit, kiwi and coconut. Lingering finish, 60 seconds here. Really intriguing and full bodied white wine that checked all the boxes. If Napa made PG like this consistently, I feel there would be less chaos and more consistency with this variety. This wine is in the perfect. Spot. Right. Now. Ready to go and kick some total butt. Or hold in your cellar for 15 years and just hold on to the prayer that things are going to get better.
