Saturday, October 7, 2023 - ruby/garnet in the glass and light- to medium-body. nuanced and precise nose of raspberry, strawberry, tree sap, and sous-bois. very soft on the entry, the red cherry, blueberry, and currant flavours of the Pommard clone build slowly against very polished tannins. mineral, spice and savoury notes appear mid-palate; good persistence with pure fruit overtones.

elegant, subtle and interesting bottling focusing on a single (fruity) clone. at the moment the fruit seems to be a bit ahead of the structure; a tad more bottle age should resolve this and carry it for a long time. definite upside potential here.

14% AbV; 40% whole clusters; 30% new oak for twenty-two months.
