Raspberry, strawberry, rose, mint, forest floor / mushroom. All integrated so beautifully on palate without the harshness/bitter medicinal quality I often find in young New World pinot. Love this wine. Drinking really well now, but have another bottle in the cellar to revisit in 3-5 years.
I first heard about Cobb wines during a tasting event with Ross Cobb himself at Ungrafted in Dogpatch, SF. A few months later I saw a fun reference in the Ralph Fiennes movie "the Menu." For my money, Cobb is making the exciting New World pinot noir at the moment.

This has an amazing nose of fresh strawberry jam with strawberry notes continuing through the palette. This is nicely balanced and truly enjoyable but it lacks the complexity for this price point IMO. Somms will have fun pairing this one...

ruby/garnet in the glass and light- to medium-body. nuanced and precise nose of raspberry, strawberry, tree sap, and sous-bois. very soft on the entry, the red cherry, blueberry, and currant flavours of the Pommard clone build slowly against very polished tannins. mineral, spice and savoury notes appear mid-palate; good persistence with pure fruit overtones.
elegant, subtle and interesting bottling focusing on a single (fruity) clone. at the moment the fruit seems to be a bit ahead of the structure; a tad more bottle age should resolve this and carry it for a long time. definite upside potential here.
14% AbV; 40% whole clusters; 30% new oak for twenty-two months.

West Coast Wine Tasting at K&L: Nose: tawny fruit, dried strawberry, forest floor, bay leaf. Really complex and aromatic nose. M- tannin, m- body, close to ethereal on the palate. Chai tea, clove, orange peel, strawberry, and sour cherry on the palate. Very cool climate pinot noir, and tastes wide open. This is a great example of why the Sonoma Coast is pinot noir territory.
