Red fruited but deep and has clove, spice, oak with a Christmas pudding characteristic. Everything I want in a village Vosne. This is not ‘big’ by any means and has excellent balance, density and persistence. Fine grained tannins, but very slightly dusty. If I was being picky the finish is slightly dry but not enough to deter me from drinking this endlessly. I’ve had many bottles of this and really appreciate the value.
