Thursday, June 9, 2016 - Quite mature with a golden hue and a bit sherried, but still intact. Big bouquet of clarified butter, bergamot, sautéed mushrooms, honey, bitter almonds, ginger. The palate is intense, plenty of acidity married with lovely richness, smooth and long. It's pros outweigh the cons, but this is better with food to take the edge off. Starting to go to seed, drink now.
