Tuesday, March 14, 2006 - Rich garnet color. Nose of holly berries, spice, licorice. Full on the palate with brambly blueberry fruit plus some sweet cherry notes on the back end. Tannins smoothing out, finish moderate. Very nice wine, aging nicely. Sense of place, definitely.
