Tuesday, November 16, 2021 - Beautiful dried hibiscus, rhubarb tarte, garrigue and paprika on the nose. Underripe cranberry and pomegranate on the palate, with mushroom and stemmy flavors. Very bitter through the midpalate which has a medium body, firm spine, seems like this would shine on the dinner table. Subtle alcohol and hazelnut on finish. Odd wine, might just be young and tight right now. Haven’t had much experience with Tavel to be fair.
