Friday, May 20, 1988 - Dark ruby. Complex bouquet with good oak and cassis. Also cassis in the taste. Some sticky tannin left an a lot, but pleasant acidity. Long aftertaste with bitter and oak. Is at its peak now. This is a very good effort for the vintage.
