Thursday, June 2, 2022 - Somewhat bolder than excellent vintage 16 - yet another sparkling vintage of the Fonterutoli GS. Garnet ruby, semi-translucent in the glass. Nose brings ripe cherries, tobacco, violets. Palate is full-bodied, beasty up-front, tannins fine, superb juice w flavours as per above w addition of spice, vivid acidity, good texture and concentration as always. Elegant, balanced, a true joy.
