Thursday, March 2, 2023 - Low rainfall, 100 yr old vines planted far apart. Sandy soil with some rocks. Pre-phylloxera (phylloxera cannot live in the sand). Biodynamic vineyard. Fermentation And maceration 3 weeks in concrete tanks. New French oak for MLF and 16 months aging. No filtration.
Nose very concentrated red and black plum, cherry, spice, toast and chocolate.
Full body, high acidity, and high tannins. This is a bold Toro that will last a long time. Brush your teeth.
