Wednesday, November 2, 2022 - Picked up at the local grocer for $27. Deep color. On decanting, there is a noticeable sweet almond perfume. Closer to the rim, it's plums, red fruit, and stems. On the palate. this doesn't taste at all Burgundy and could easily be a very good California pinot. While it loses its sense of place, it's also more approachable than a young burgundy.
