Tuesday, February 13, 2024 - This pours light gold in the glass with faint flecks of green. The nose is lovely and complex showing butter, meyer lemon, almond, cold steel, white flowers, golden delicious apple, and faint flinty reduction. The palate enters on butter and meyer lemon with focused medium plus acid. The finish is a touch bitter with steely green apple and lemon acid, and is medium in length. All in all this is quite a lovely little bottle of white burgundy. True to origin and true to the modern Jadot house style. Bottled under Diam. Purchased for $3.50 per half bottle, an absurdly great value.
