Tuesday, March 15, 2022 - Black fruit in front of vanilla and cola. Hot, alcohol on the finish. Overall blown-out, round, flabby feel. Might be because I'm coming off two dense, balanced, structured Nebbiolo wines but my first thought was _oh yeah, this is why Miles hated merlot_. I like WA Merlot and honestly think I could find one I like at about 1/3 of the price... Columbia Crest's offerings come to mind.
