Monday, October 17, 2005 - Beautiful wine. Crystal-clear garnet. Nose of red fruits, coffee, and earth. Fruit surviving well after 2 decades; crisp, clean with smooth mouthfeel and long, long finish. Smooth tannins late. Drinking well now, probably at peak but also suspect it will last several more years without significant decline. Far exceeded my expectations.
