Monday, April 15, 2024 - Dark garnet in color. Full, fragrant & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blackberries & cassis with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes, spices, tobacco, graphite, herbs & a hint of cedar in the background. Full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, lush, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blackberries & cassis with spices, herbs, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but will develop further with additional aging at which time it may merit a higher score (94+).
