2020 Château Figeac

Community Tasting Note

Likes this wine:

Thursday, September 28, 2023 - Trying to get a sense of 2020 Figeac from 375 without proper airtime seemed futile but nonetheless, this provided plenty of charm from PNP.

With that said, if I had to do it all over again from the same format I would decant. 2-3+ hrs at cellar temp and let it warm up in the glass.

At first I was getting some cranberry, cherry and mint. Silky tannins and a long finish. Just a lovely wine in it's infancy.

9/30/2023 8:59:00 PM - thanks for taking one for the team.

Quick Q for you - my sister is in Houston a couple days a week for work. I've had a hard time shipping wine to her house in the middle of nowhere - curious where you buy your wines in Houston? i'd love to just order from somewhere local and have her pick them up when she is in town.
