Thursday, May 20, 2021 - Almost opaque in color, the wine jumps from the glass with its showy display of black cherries, Valrhona chocolate, ripe plums, smoke, licorice and wet earth. Full-bodied, rich and concentrated, the wine is lush, velvety and opulent in texture, leaving you with an array of chocolate-covered red pit fruits and silky, sensuous textures. This could be my favorite vintage of Clos L'Eglise produced yet. 95-97

6/7/2021 12:40:00 PM - Clos L'Eglise is a very concentrated, rich wine. So you need to wait at least a decade to 12-15 years before it is sublime and it should offer at least 20 more years after that.
