Tuesday, May 20, 2008 - Opened and decanted for about 2 hours. Deep dark red wine. On the nose I smelled blackberries and currants. On the palate I noticed spices and lots of tannins and oak. This is a tannin heavy wine even after 2 hours of decanting. It was enjoyable to drink and would pair well with hearty food.
