Saturday, January 7, 2023 - What a beautiful wine. This wine, year in and year out always ranks consistently high for me. I gave this ~6 hours of air and drank over the next few hours. I tasted a small sip at PnP and it was as good then as it was with more air. It had this cherry vanilla, almost like a cherry starburst nose to it - very pleasant. Good Rutherford dust, very accessible.

1/9/2023 10:46:00 AM - nice TN, and thanks for the early check in.

Every time I open a Greer I always kick myself for not buying more during the release. Typically I get a three pack and a Maggie but I may need to bump that up for the next offering.

Great wine at (relatively) reasonable price point...

1/9/2023 3:38:00 PM - Thanks Blarmstom. After tasting this one, I kicked myself for not getting another 3 pack. I may reach out to Rob and get more.

Also appreciate your notes. I have the 18 and 19 Greer and have patiently been waiting to open one.

1/9/2023 8:09:00 PM - Thanks for the early check. Had one 6+ months ago great juice. Had the ‘16 recently and was on point- great juice.

6 pack is the way to go for sure. Trying to get him to do a vertical wine dinner here in AZ. Maybe you guys can all fly out. Blarm you have been threatening … Get’er done!

1/10/2023 7:24:00 AM - I would definitely make the trip out to AZ for a Greer vertical. The VHR one in December sounded like a blast.

@ Joe - yes I am a Fairfield alum, class of 08. Message me on the side to catch up, would be great to meet another fellow alum here on CT.

1/10/2023 8:43:00 AM - Kicking myself for missing these this year. May have to connect with him to see if anything is still there. Always one of my favorite releases but I just forgot to pull the trigger this year. Do we know if they are making a 2020?

1/10/2023 12:03:00 PM - Lite- do you have a tentative date for that? I've been meaning to visit some clients in Scottsdale so could multi task on the trip.

    Let me know, cheers...

I am headed to Hartford this summer.

Come out for Malescot St Exupery March 2nd plus a pre-wine dinner night of fantastic bottles.

1/10/2023 12:36:00 PM - Theres a 95% chance that I'll be in Jackson Hole so that one wont work.

But keep me/us in mind for that Greer for sure...

1/12/2023 5:39:00 AM - What's up gents!? Some of my favorite places being discussed on this thread! Lite, I'm firming up SB 23 for the family. Most likely landing in Tucson again and working my way North over the week. Hopefully we can share a few bottles. And, most likely the house I'll rent in Sedona will have plenty of space as the kids like to share one room on vacation. Dibs!
