Thursday, April 11, 2024 - Similar to a year ago. Brett city at first, subsiding somewhat but not completely 4 hours in. Taut, crisp red fruits (redcurrant, pomegranate), tobacco, a hint of pyrazines, chalky fine tannins, and loamy soil. Some more sharp horsey brett before a crisp clean finish. Very classic chinon, no trace of heat.
