Cassis, black cherry, dried red cherry, green and brown tobacco, new leather, a little menthol, chocolate, and earth on the nose. Tart cherry, cassis, black cherry, earth, green herbs, and leather on the palate. Very good acidity, mostly resolved tannins, medium-long finish. Full-bodied, mature, and delicious, this wine could probably last more years. Personally, I would drink it now.
