Friday, December 29, 2023 - Dinner at Ecco , St Moritz (Ecco , St Moritz): Decanted for a good hour and really helps the wine develop.
Quite the modernist Brunello and frankly a difficult one to place in a blind tasting. Granted still on the youthful side but still ever so welcoming and polished wine, dark fruited, dark cherry notes, good use of oak here and polishes the wine well out of any sharp edges . Granted our exposure to brunello is limited but still a very pretty wine. 93 and lots of life ahead.
