Saturday, May 7, 2022 - Black fruit dominates this serious, dense wine. Doesn’t show the remarkable polish I recall from its youth, this is an earthier and deeper wine if a touch monolithic (at least as a pop and pour). Plenty of material here for extended aging would be interested to try again in another decade to see how it evolves.
