Thursday, June 8, 2023 - Dad inky purple red. Strong oak nose, black fruit and pepperyness, seems young and raw, acidity rises slowly from the background. Tannic opening tasting, raw, red and black fruit shows but mainly peppery tannins. Needs air and age? With a bit of air the fruits rush to the front. Fruit bomb? Not totally, but near - tannins still very evident. Day 2, still full fruity oaky tannins. Good but not exceptional.
